CFA Program Partnership - General Information

The CFA Institute is a global association of investment professionals, which awards the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation. The University of Mannheim was the first CFA program partner of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute in Germany. The partnership is based on the Bachelor of Business Administration program. This implies that the courses within the Bachelor of Business Administration program cover at least 70% of the CFA Candidate Body of Knowledge® (CBOK). Recognition as a partner signals that the degree’s curriculum is closely tied to professional practice and that it is well suited for students preparing for the CFA® examinations.

The CFA Program is a graduate-level self-study program that combines a broad-based curriculum of investment principles with professional conduct requirements. It is designed to prepare young professionals for a wide range of investment specialties that apply in every market all over the world.
